The Run Down
Home of our very own Salmagundi Trail Race! $5/person. Just west of Austin near Bee Cave, this trail is great for speed as it is flat and smooth. There is an outer double track/horse trail that surrounds the single-track. The single track is mostly used for mountain bikers. There are a few parking lots nearby the trail, plus there is plenty of parking elsewhere in the park. The trail has some spots of shade, but gets dry and hot in the summer. Jump in the Pedernales River to cool off!
