Come on out and race before the holidays on the fastest course this side of the Mississippi! With rolling hills and wide trails, this is a great race for beginner trail runners and you speedsters alike! Nestled on the Pedernales River in the Texas Hill Country. Live music and local food truck post race.

November 9 6-8:15 am at Reimers Ranch (race start/finish)

Packet pick up can be crowded on race morning,! We recommend pickup at The Loop: a specialty running shop with a wide variety of trail and road shoes, along with other necessary running gear!

With beautiful overlooks of the Pedernales River, this route is all trail. With a salmugundi of double track, single track, and jeep trail this race is great for your first trail run or fastest trail run!

Day use is $5/person cash only! (we cover participant’s park entry)

Tent Camping: Camping is not allowed at this park

Amenities: Port-o-toilets + park restrooms

Austin Sunshine Camps mission is to provide the magic of overnight camp without the barrier of cost.

Ruck Division

  • If you weigh under 150lbs, we will require a 20lb weight. If you weight over 150lbs, we will require a 30lb weight.

  • Mandatory ruck weigh in will take place prior to the start when you pick up your timing chip, and at the finish line.

  • Weight cannot be anything consumable or wearable like snacks or water or clothing or accessories.

  • The mandatory amount of weight must be on your back in a ruck or as a vest

  • Any type of backpack (ruck) is acceptable.

  • No trekking poles

  • You can carry additional gear and supplies like food, water and clothing, but that will be additional weight.
