Established in 2010 by Joe Prusaitis, Steve Sisson, and Ruth England of Rogue Running, the Rogue Trail Series has evolved into a premier collection of trail running events in the Central Texas region. Known for its “runnable” trail courses that showcase the natural beauty of the area, the series attracts runners of all levels seeking a unique and rewarding racing experience. With a focus on community, camaraderie, and a love for the outdoors, the Rogue Trail Series continues to inspire and engage participants in the joy of trail running. Trail Roots founder Erik Stanley got his start co directing the Rogue Trail Series in 20011-2014 while also leading the Rogue group trail program. The Rogue Trail Series joined Trail Roots in 2024 and we are excited to continue bringing this family friendly, yet challenging run series to the Austin area. The 2025 races will be held at Mckinney Falls State Park, Walnut Creek Park, and Flat Creek Crossing Ranch.
