Welcome New Coach Joe Prusaitis

I am thrilled to have Joe Prusaitis coming on board with Trail Roots! Joe will be offering coaching for beginners to advance focusing on those running ultra trail and road distances. Joe started Tejas Trails back in the early 2000’s where it hosted some of the best and largest races across the country including Bandera 25k, 50k, 100k, and Rocky Raccoon 50 and 100 miler. Both were US Championship races for multiple years and Bandera is still a Western States qualifier.

We hope Joe’s knowledge, background, and leadership will help Trail Roots continue to connect with new runners across the Austin area and throughout the country as we increase our online and virtual coaching opportunities.

More than anything Joe is someone who I’ve always looked up to and respected, and am grateful to have him to learn from and grow with. If you are interested in ultra trail coaching with Joe Prusaitis and would like to join the Trail Roots group runs in Austin you can find more info here.
