Post run its always tough to want to do extra. However, if you can save 5-10 minutes before and after your run to allow for some light strength and mobility you may get more bang for your buck. I’d recommend this especially to new runners as you are increasing your workload. This can help keep you from overdoing your run, keep your heart rate elevated, and help with form and efficiency. Perhaps try this set of exercises before your next few runs and see how you feel. You should notice that you aren’t as achey, and you actually feel warmed up!
