New for 2024: We have reserved the entirety of the Indian Lodge and Davis Mountains Campgrounds for race weekend! Once you have booked your race entry for Sky Island Race, you will need to book your room / campsite here. The race start/finish will be at Indian Lodge. We’re working to ensure maximum access for runners, so only race entrants may book accommodations.

*Pricing note: taxes and fees are included in the price above. The Indian Lodge charges more for non-queen rooms. These are part of the original historic structure of the lodge and offer unique character.

The Indian Lodge is reopening in 2024 after a $3.5M renovation on the historic site. Check-in is 3:00 pm; check-out is by 11:00 am. Quiet Hours: 10pm to 6am. There are a limited number of rollaway beds and cribs available for an additional fee. You must abide by rules set by Indian Lodge, Texas State Parks, and Trail Roots. Burn ban in effect until further notice. Alcohol is not permitted in any of Texas State Parks, however it is permitted within Indian Lodge bounds. Pets are not allowed in rooms. Swimming pool for Indian Lodge guests only.

Park entrance fees are included with your race entry and you do not need to stop at the Davis Mountains State Park entrance gate. Campsite reservations will be assigned the week prior to the race and notified by email. Indian Lodge guests will check-in at the front desk to receive room keys.

Texas State Parks is not currently accepting individual reservations for Indian Lodge. If you wish to extend your stay, we suggest you monitor their website for updates and booking information for other dates. Images shown are representative only. 110, 111, 113, 114, 115, 116, 117, 120 and 124 = 1 full bed. 112, 118, 122 = 1 king bed. 119 & 123 = 2 full beds. 210-225, 310-325 = 2 queen beds. Rooms numbered in the 100s are part of the original historic structure and offer unique character.
